What will your wedding day timeline look like?
The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM followed by cocktail hour, dinner and reception. The evening will conclude at 10:00 PM.
Will there be transportation provided?
Yes! There will be round trip shuttle services from The Hotel Roanoke and Hampton Inn. Please see the Transportation page for more information.
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. We kindly request that guests arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time for seating. Guests who take the shuttle will arrive in a timely manner before the ceremony start time. Guests that are driving, please plan ahead for parking which is located at the venue.
What should i wear?
We would love for our guests to dress in cocktail/semi-formal attire. Ladies should wear long cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.
Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?
We kindly ask the ladies to refrain from wearing white, ivory, cream and champagne color attire.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony will be held outdoors, followed by an indoor reception.
Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?
We will have an unplugged wedding ceremony so that our professional wedding photographer can get the best possible shots without the interference of other flashes or mobile screens. Please turn your phone off before the ceremony begins.
Can I bring my kids?
As much as we love your kids, this is an adults-only celebration.
Will there be alcoholic beverages?
Yes! We will have beer, seltzer, prosecco and wine for all guests to enjoy.
